https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ofYcWs5TtQAt the end of that video you saw two cops on the wing. I believe they got out there through the over-wing exit window, which has to be inspected and reinstalled by certified mechanics. The flight was scrubbed.
I don't know how that guy go onto the wing without blowing a slide. Maybe the 737 has overwing exits that can be disarmed easily.
In hindsight, he may have wished he used a slide to come down off the wing. That looked painful assuming he could feel it.
I didn't realize the size of those winglets, they are fairly big. They should have just shot him off IMO.
Why not just clear the pilot for takeoff?
