Title: Reddit is Pro Firearms
Post by: Seenterman on April 15, 2011, 12:47:08 PM
I'm a lurker over at Reddit.com, which is a pretty liberal site and started wondering what the hivemind's stance on firearms over there was. So I checked out http://www.reddit.com/r/guncontrol and saw there was 89 subscribers to that particular subsection and less than 2 pages of links.

So I wander off to http://www.reddit.com/r/guns/ and I was pleasantly surprised to find 24,392 Enthusiasts along with multiple other subsections such as http://www.reddit.com/r/ar15/ and http://www.reddit.com/r/homedefense.

I think its safe to say where "winning" in the battle for hearts and minds, gun control is dying, and liberals are keeping shovel some of that dirt onto its grave; its the minority of liberals that are pushing for gun control.  And now you guys might have another place to go looking for gun porn or just wasting time on the internets.

I would agree it is dying compared to the 90's, but all it takes is a couple of rich idiots shoveling money at the gun control orgs to keep their side going.  Also, if we stop putting forth our message, we will be back where we were a generation from now.
