Title: Revolutionary War cannons found in Savannah River
Post by: Perd Hapley on April 01, 2022, 04:17:35 PM
Several British cannon used in the Revolutionary War were dredged out of the Savannah River. Mr. Biden will be pleased to know they were government-owned.

The story says they were in the wreckage of British ships that were scuttled to block the path of French naval forces.

I'm sure the BATFE will be along shortly to confiscate them.

Of course, the British wantonly throwing cannons into our waterways is why we're paying more for gasoline!

That was a good one !

But the ATF being involved?

Huh.

Did they figure out some goomizigah convoluted leegil reasoning to bring black powder muzzle loaders under their jurisdiction, too?

And it doesn't take even a single pull of the trigger to fire one of those cannons.

Huh.

No, but they're specifically configured for rapid fire sequential discharge with a thumb in your belt loop.
