Faceplace friend of mine is a US Park Services Ranger at Yellowstone.

During the shutdown a commercial snowmobile guide took advantage of the situation and guided his group into restricted areas, including very close to Old Faithful.

He's in a world of hurt now.

Pretty sure we haven't had a budget in at least 10 years.  I think they've been on CR's since the democratic congress under Bush.

Wait, wait.   I thought Continuing Resolutions merely maintained spending at that (last) year's budget levels.  But haven't we had budget --or at least spending --increases for almost every year?

Looks like the likelihood of another government shutdown in 3 weeks just shot up to 99.999995%.

Yesterday afternoon Weepy Chuck Schumer said "Well, we agreed on funding for the Wall, but you know what.... PSYCH!"
