I bet California will soon have power plants fueled by aborted babies. Win-win.
Well, Mark Twain wrote that when they built the first railroad in Egypt, due to the dearth of trees, they burned mummies. "The fuel used for the locomotive is composed of mummies three thousand years old, purchased by the ton or by the graveyard for that purpose, and … sometimes one hears the profane engineer call out pettishly, ‘Damn these plebeians, they don’t burn worth a cent — pass out a King!'”
Twain of course was joking. But for a time artists
did use a pigment called Egyptian Brown which
was made from mummies . . . but its popularity fell off pretty quick once artists found out the origin of this paint.
As for what they'll
actually do in California . . . I don't know. But being its California, it probably won't be good.
