You've already messed up, you should have your coat and your hat match. Smiley

I say go with the Kmart-brand jeans.  I think they're called "Rustlers".  For shoes, go with the sneakers that have Velcro instead of laces.

Dude, you will be lookin' goooooooood.

OK, you're asking a bunch of gunnies for fashion advice.

Folks who debate the appropriateness of wearing camo to the range.

People who think Hoppes No 9 is not just a solvent, but an aftershave.  (Actually, I prefer CLP for that job--jfruser)

Given the above, you are a brave man, indeed.

I have no advice.  See, I'm married and let my wife haunt the discount racks for my casual clothes and I go to Eddie Bauer for work clothes once every year or two and buy Khakis that fit---one pair of EVERY color.

Boots should match your belt and gloves.  since your hat is brown, I would go with something else in brown.  You might be able to go as far as a dark-ish tan, but try to get close to the hat.  I would go with similar pants.  They can be a good bit lighter than the rest of the outfit, but I think they should be darker than the standard khaki tan.  You *might* be able to go with a dark green, depending on the color of the coat, but it's risky.

Do consult with a woman about this before jumping blindly into any color advice I give.  I see green.  That's it.  Red and blue are freakish anomalies of perception created by defective genes in all of you full-color-seeing people.

Jean Shorts. The answer is ALWAYS jean shorts. And maybe Tevas with white socks. If you're going to be that guy who just didn't get the memo, take it as far as you can, I say.

Jeans or khakis, and Army boots.
