Having a pet in Iran could soon land you in jail
« on: July 19, 2022, 12:50:48 PM »
Walking a dog is already illegal in Tehran but it looks like they want to ban pets ownership entirely in all of Iran or at the very least impose a $$$ permit requirement issued by a special committee. In other words good luck getting it.
Corporal punishment for dog owners was even discussed at one time.
I am aware of the Muslim tradition of viewing dogs as unpure but this goes beyond that to include all pets to stamp out what they view as a symbol of Westernization.

Yet another reason to let them have a nuke. A small tactical one right through the roof of the palace.

And sometimes goes on and on and on.

So why don't the pet owners use their right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances?

WHATEVER YOUR DEFINITION OF "INFRINGE " IS, YOU SHOULDN'T BE DOING IT.

They have to pass flying school first. Heard it has a 100% dropout rate though.
