I think I'm going to do one of these, with safety glasses, hard hat, face shield, and possibly a bit more.

Malicious compliance is often more effective. Take it to the extreme to illustrate the silliness, plus it takes away their power to hit you with non-compliance.

Do it. I got lots of compliments on my plague doctor mask last year.

Then I got a buttload of anti-compulsory-vax T-shirts with different slogans on them. I'm not opposed to the science of vaccination and I have several immunizations. But no COVID ones. Every time I wear one of those shirts I get compliments in public about them. Never once accosted by a pro-vaxxer.

Our society is primed for a V-for-Vendetta style mask mockery of authority. Respect for government is at an all time low.

The same for our Viking cruises scheduled for this fall and next summer. At least as of today, Viking is not requiring daily testing while on board.

Proof of vaccination and a negative test 24 hours prior to boarding for us. Nothing coming off or flying home.

Some family went on a cruise recently. All vaccinated six ways from Sunday and most having had COVID before. They had to test when transferring ships for the second part of their cruise and a couple of them tested positive. They got kicked off the boat and put up in a hotel for a few days then flew home. They all ended up sick with positive COVID tests whether on the trip or After they got back.

I had a neck gaitor, all black, that I could see thru.
I would cover my entire face and head, it really made people uncomfortable, especially while open carrying .
towards the end of the mandates I was very non compliant and very vocal about how dumb it was and advocating violence
against any agency enforcing the regs.
I started getting very, very angry

Some of them wear masks that show only the eyes, and wear sunglasses.

lots of websites "say" vaxx proof etc, but out here there is zero enforcement .
I think a lot of places "say" so online but never enforce anything.
