New HSA limits for 2020

Essentially, HSA contribution limits are going up $50 for an individual and $100 for a family account, to $3550/$7100.

If you're older than 55, the catch up contribution amount of $1,000 remains the same as last year.

I wish that would go up way, way, more. Not only because of the state of health care insurance, but because my HSA is also my stealth tax-advantaged retirement account.

I wish it were higher too just to cover the easy monthly installments I'm paying on 3 emergency room visits, 3 CT scans, 2 hospitalizations, 2 surgeries, and many recurring outpatient visits that my family incurred in 2019. I can't wait for this year to end.
