Trump was a registered Democrat then too, wasn’t he?
Didn't Reagan start off as a Democrat?
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

I was a super duper liberal/left winger until I was 35 yrs old - people change.
After my brother in law was shot dead, I was anti gun for a couple of yrs in the early 80's.
I voted for Carter/Mondale & Clinton

I (foolishly - hey I was 19, same age as Vivek in that clip) voted for Clinton in ‘96.  I probably voted for Gore in 2000, not that it mattered given I was registered in Oregon at the time.  Then I grew up.
