Title: "FOOD" FOR THOUGHT
Post by: Scott Metro on December 29, 2020, 06:30:13 AM
Shear paranoia struck this morning as I sipped my coffee and pondered things. I saw this news report last night, it was about outdoor dining in San Francisco and the homeless. It seems as they shut down outdoor dining that the homeless are taking over the little cubicles and table arrangements placed on the sidewalks to accommodate customers. Here is the hidden kicker in the story, incentives will be given to restaurants to help out the business's, but, those incentives will be based on race. In other words, if you're a non-white, you're gonna get some help. If you're a white business owner, you'll have to go to the back of the "help" line.
Is redistribution of wealth a hidden gem for the left in this whole Covid/Pandemic/Shutdown scheme?
Is this part of the long term plan? Holding some back some so others can get ahead? Is this a social justice chess play?
Help me work this out in my head.

Redistribution of wealth has long been a facet of US government handouts, the COVID handouts just continue the trend. Whether it's part of an overarching socialist-eaque class warfare redistribution plan, or simply a side effect of looking at everything through the lens of race theory is an open question.

I tend to think it's the latter, as I don't think they are smart or disciplined enough to keep a massive multi-generational wealth redistribution scheme secret,  or working.

Welcome, Scott Metro.

It all makes better sense if you look at my signature line.

For those who have the signature line turned off, it goes like this:

Quote
You can't invade the United States.  There will be a rifle behind every blade of grass.  You will have to bankrupt it first.

That seems to make a lot of sense in explaining things, at least to this
codger.

. . .  It seems as they shut down outdoor dining that the homeless are taking over the little cubicles and table arrangements placed on the sidewalks to accommodate customers.  . . .
It's the owner's fault for not installing remotely controlled sprinkler systems.
