Clinton Cries Poverty
« on: June 09, 2014, 08:51:17 PM »
Hillary Clinton claims their family was "dead broke" before and after the White House gig. Interesting that she said they had to struggle for mortgages (plural) and houses (plural). I can't believe even MSNBC is going to back her on this whopper.

It must be Hillary Fluff Week. Diana Sawyer just gave Hillary a free political ad.

See, she's just one of us.   An Everyman struggling to make ends meet.  One of the common people.

It just the book launch hype and the pre launch for HRC for POTUS 2016.

Would that make Bill the First Man?

As I recall her husband was raking in 100K for EACH of his many appearances after that gig, so I don't think they were hurting too much.

My impression is she is thinking that a sort of Queen of the world lifestyle is what she deserves, and having to, well, you know, actually do stuff to get people to give you money was beneath her station.  Of course I was never shot at in Iraq as she was, so what do I know?

BJ had to start paying for hookers instead of getting interns for free  ;/

Plus $400k pension, plus her $175k Senate paycheck, plus whatever investment income they had rolling in.  If they manage money that poorly, they should be banned from getting within 100 miles of government.

Reminds me of the local newspaper editor complaining about gas prices being so high she couldn't afford designer purses to go with the 3-4 newest designer outfits she'd bought.

You forgot the $400K per year for the previous 8 years, with literally every expense paid for by either .gov or his campaign.  So I completely agree that if you squander $3.2 MILLION dollars of income, then you should NOT be allowed to be anywhere near a .gov checkbook.

Saw an article that claimed they grossed around $12million in the year 2001.  Yeah, that's hand to mouth levels of income.  If we're talking handfuls of caviar.
