Which guns should I pretend to own?
« on: January 30, 2007, 12:50:04 PM »
For my next bit of comic genius, I am working on a signature line for the High Road that is an imaginary list of all the guns that I own.  Recommendations please.

It will look something like this:

ca. 1780 "Brown Bess" with Tritium Night Sights
Kimber SPAS-12
Full-auto Metric Krag-Jorgensen
Smith & Wesson Z-frame 1.00 caliber
Mark IV phaser
Elephant Gun made in India by real elephants

Thanks.   laugh

How about the prototype disruptors that ended up in the possession of Kivas Fajo in ST:TNG?

Yeah, two guages are by no means imaginary.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.  I like the airweight .45-70.

If anybody could improve on any of my original suggestions, that would help, too.  Metric 870 Express?

Why is it that I always get blamed for this? I wasn't even in this thread up to this point.

Oh, and my contribution? The answer is so obvious.

Phased-plasma rifle in the forty watt range.

Make up a fake "Operation" to be a veteran of.....
Veteran of Operation Desert Steel Kuwiat....Or better yet, steal the name from a video game's campaign mode Operation nicknames....

Hrm.  Forty watt?  Are you an uncover DEA agent, or are you missing a few zeros in there?

Me, I want one of those handguns with no metal parts that can be slipped through a metal detector.

2 guages are for sissies and left handed individuals.  I want a -12 guage.  Should fit on a standard pickup truck, I imagine.

A belt fed automatic revolver handgun would be nice.  Think I read about them in some of the more loony anti-gun newspaper articles.  Not sure if they come packaged with rivers of blood, or just the stand 3 pints.

And maybe an AR-15 that doesn't jam, and an AK that is accurate enough to hit dirt when fired straight down.
