I think it would be a blast too. A might higher than your guess: $3400 for a full mission one day, or $6000 for the complete two day mission. It's tax deductible though!

If we can get seven APS members together, a full crew one day mission is only $21,000!

I thought it was 4 grand, but for two days' worth of activities including a bombing run and the like.

I forgot which bomber it was, but it was $400 for about an hour's ride around town (Denver) maybe a decade ago from an air show at either Jeffco pr Centennial Airport.

I guess that would be about $600 nowadays for inflation.  No real frills, just sightseeing and a view of the mountains, from what I gathered.  It was not in either Fifi or Doc and I did not take the ride.
