One of my favorite NASCAR drivers from "back in the day".

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

He was from the era when they raced cars that were (sort of) still made by the manufacturers whose names were on the grille. Back when I followed NASCAR racing.

R.I.P. Mr. Yarborough.

Been a rough couple of weeks in motorsports. Lost Shoe and Paula last week and now Cale. RIP all.
