Bad weather now at TX-OK-LA-AR area?

Looks like some bad stuff right there.  White indicates high cold clouds.  What's happening out there right now?

Never mind just picked up a weather channel.  Yes.  Bad.

We got just enough hard rain for all our crews to go home, too late in the day to get them back when it all cleared off.  Looking quite pleasant at the moment.

No rain down here near the coast.  Just wind and clouds.  Nothing that looks like a storm yet.  I think some of this is still developing.  As long as it isn't 15 inches of rain again, we will be okay.

Not bad here in Shreveport, LA right now.
I might not last very long or be very effective but I'll be a real pain in the ass for a minute!

Tornado near Tyler TX, right on the trailing edge of the big red/white blob in map above.

Current for when you click it:

The temperature chart appears on this one.  Apparently it's an overlay which can't be captured with screen print.

It's a might on the humid side here.
Ditches running full and still coming down.
A little wind here but nothing severe so far.

<grin> Oklahoma looks pretty clear right now except eastern border.

Midnight here, just got up.  Trying to gather info.  Apparently twisters in TX, baseball hail, lots of rain.

5:15 AM, I awoken with a start by an explosion followed by all our electronics pulsing and a surging 60 Hz hum... NOT good. Instantly WIDE awake! Yank laptop and cell power chords, flip power strips to entertainment center, hit the front porch for a look. Power pole on the corner 5 houses down has a beachball size BRIGHT orange glow pulsing in time with the porch light and hum. Sparks occasionally are falling. The iPhone that lives hanging around my neck is already dialing 911. Report issue and advise I will call power company next and they tell me they will as well. Hang up and report to SWEPCo while on the phone, that transformer explodes. Pretty (*expletive deleted*ing scary!) Arcing and pulsing continues for a few more minutes. They actually had our power back in less than 2 hours. THANK YOU SWEPCo!
