Yeah, it's at the stage where all that's left to do is laugh it up and enjoy the show.  =D  :facepalm:  [barf]

The US as I once understood it petty much went POOF! when private financial entities' rotten business dealings were bailed out by unwilling tax payers. For the Greater Good!  ;/ Can't get more socialist than that.

And during those centuries the inhabitants proceeded to tear down the great architecture and the paved roads of Rome for the stones to build squalid hovels next to mud filled paths to live in.
