What would the new term of derision be? Bestiaphobic?
Will they join the LGBTQC* movement?

If they follow recent trends, by inventing senseless terms like "homophobe" (Help! I'm afraid of similar things!), they will probably call us animaphobes. Which I think would mean that we fear the wind. Or that we fear spirits, as I believe anima has both meanings.

Do Bronies count?
Let's have Jamis go set himself up as a test case.

I genuinely don't understand why this is a problem.
Do the sheep complain?
I can sort of see it as an issue if the animal... er... lover is after an animal that I own. However, if they paid for that horse or goat, who cares?

Then get rid of all animal cruelty laws?
How do you know the animal is okay with it?

Ideally, yes. Pets are property.

For the record are we talking animals only of the opposite gender of the human, or does gender not matter so long as it isn't two humans? Can Disney make some minor reference to it?

Is the animal okay with being castrated, and then killed and eaten? We certainly don't ask them about that.
Unless we're talking something with great size disparity to a human, like small dogs, it really doesn't seem like cruelty compared to what we do allow.

And what about human/animal marriage equality, and those transitioning from human to hamster? And the bathrooms. Don't forget the bathrooms.

First tree on the left is the ladies, fourth on the right is is the men's, and if you're confused just hold it until you figure it out.

Wanna know what this really was about? This is my work state, so I get legislative updates through the state Bar association. There was a law concerning bestiality back in the day. It was dropped during an update of the criminal code as being antiquated and unnecessary because of animal cruelty laws. Fast forward to 2015, and some people in a community got up in arms about a case involving doggie luvin because a reporter stated that there were no laws about luvin between people and animals in Ohio. A legislator running for re-election sees the opportunity to make the press, and goes on a campaign of pushing for this law because it's necessary to protect the animals from perverts. It's gone through with little opposition because, let's face it, only a political fool would publicly stand against this kind of law. So, it passes not because it's necessary, but because it made people feel good and got some political player good press.
