I was looking for info on Spartan II body armor, and found a great resource:

Lots of first-hand evaluations of different gear and configurations.

Spartan II is the commercial version of the new USMC armor, and some guys I know in Iraq are buying it right now. It's supposed to be a lot more comfortable. It sure looks like it.

I don't really care to register for a forum that won't let me read any posts first.  If you'd put a few threads up as an example, it would be nice.

I didn't realize you had to do that. I jumped from google right into a thread.
