Is that "supper" as in lunch?  My grandfather (Shreveport La)  and grandmother used to call lunch---was it dinner?  And then dinner was "supper".  Is that a southern / western thing?

Lunch is at noon.  Dinner is at 1:00, as in Sunday Dinner.  Supper is in the evening.

Don't know if it is a western thing.  My family left Kentucky in 1881, but old ways die hard. Smiley
