The sign actually has a nast implication when you think about it.

Poor people = lazy people

lazy people = fast food

fast food = fat people

I think that by issuing food stamps they are hoping that cheapness will win out over laziness and it may curb this trend.

This is crap of course since one can buy utter garbage with their food stamps anyways.
