sm, your story is frightening as well as inspirational.
I only mentioned Valium because I've been on it for some 25 years. For awhile, I wouldn't take it unless I felt an anxiety attack coming on. The doc said to take it daily, and that would curb the attacks. It worked.
There's probably other, newer drugs out there that work just as well.
