I mistakenly thought the thread was title "My guilt".  I was all prepared to read some kind of wild confession.  Tongue

A picture of your "quilt" is much better, though.  Very cool pattern.

Barbara, thanks for making it and giving it to Pam and Brad to bring to our banquet.

I'm sure you put in a lot more time than what the selling price justified, but the quilt went for a good cause.

Now that you're an expert quilt-maker, you can make them for fund-raisers all over the country. Wink

Note to Self: Never get Barbara and my wife together. They'll end up at Fabric Depot, and there'll be two more broke families in the world!

I also thought the thread title read "Guilt", and I was all set to do my preachermanly thing and provide wise advice . . . glad it wasn't necessary! Cheesy

Anyway, Barbara, since you're now a quilter, does that mean we can refer to you as "our comforter"?

My grandmother made me a really nice quilt some years ago when I was living with her and my uncle.  When I moved out and back to Texas, I took it with me.  I moved in with a guy that I knew and a friend of his.  When his friend moved out, my quilt was gone.  Talk about pissed!!!

Well, anyway, the topic came up one day when I was talking to my grandmother and it was hard for me to tell her it went "missing."  Next time I saw her, she had made me another one even better than the first.  She's a great lady and I know how hard these things are to make.  Your's looks wonderful but don't let anyone borrow it.

Beautiful quilt Barbara, but unforunately I thought it said my guilt too.

If you turn out anything like my mom when she was quilting you'll need an addition to the house to store "neat pieces of fabric".

At least the sewing room supplies are in actual yardages, the quilting stuff is boxes of little pieces.
