Gloria Steinem, feminist!
« on: February 07, 2016, 07:24:57 AM »
And ginormous hypocrite!

Quote
Appearing on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher Friday night, Steinem discussed the dynamics of why younger women aren't flocking to Hillary Clinton, who, of course, would be the nation's first female president. She argued that women grow "more radical" as they get older because "they lose power as they age."

She added: “And when you’re young, , you’re thinking, you know, ‘Where are the boys?’ The boys are with Bernie,” she said.

As usual, Steinem is a nitwit.  Women don't lose power as they age...they gain wisdom.  With wisdom comes power.  That's why they reject Hillary.  They see what an evil, lying sociopath she is.

It's being reported that younger women are less likely to support Mrs. Clinton. They only know her as a losing presidential candidate and a failed SecState.

Neither of those are the case here.

Free *expletive deleted*it trumps the "first woman president" appeal every day. Bernie is promising a lot more. They love the socialism.

This is the scary part. You have the Free *expletive deleted*it Army "enlisted" base...and then you have it's officer corps, which is what the college students are. They are smart enough to be dangerous, and they are true believers.

Generally speaking, married women tend to be more conservative... unmarried women tend to look to the state to be a replacement for a man.
While there are plenty of exceptions, polls have always reflected this to be the case.

Gloria Steinem apologized on Sunday for suggesting young women support Bernie Sanders to chase boys.

“In a case of talk-show Interruptus, I misspoke on the Bill Maher show recently, and apologize for what’s been misinterpreted as implying young women aren’t serious in their politics,” the feminist icon wrote on her Facebook page on Sunday morning.

She apologizes for what has been "misinterpreted"?????

The young woman are more concerned with collage tuition than anything else (two of them happen to be my cousins, so this is how I know)
The second Bernie promised free collage, he got all the collage age kids, regardless of gender.

Besides, Hilary doesn't really scream the image of modern feminist role model. All you have to do is look at Bill to see the fail there. Hilary is the feminist icon of twenty years ago, but she's way out of the loop for what is expected of a "feminist" these days.
For that matter, Steinem isn't exactly with it on the modern "feminist" either. They are both has beens in the world of "feminism"

I somehow doubt the few economics majors are voting for this stuff.

The good news for Bernie is there are a *expletive deleted*it ton of liberal arts majors these days.
