was a pretty near a republican sweep in my county  all local positions as well as state races.  we got rid of one democrat pretending to be an independent as well
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

That's wonderful. I just saw an item on a news site: the current occupant of the White House is said to be too busy to pay attention to the election results.

Yeah. Right.

Well done Virginia  =D.

Lets hope NJ follows suit.

NY 23 don't looks so good yet but even Daddy Warbucks Bloomberg's win is going to be narrow.

Yeah. Right.

Yeah, I found that interesting and similar to his reaction to the Tea Party protests. I know kids pout and pretend they don't hear you when they don't get their way. I didn't know Presidents do it too...

When McAuliffe was in the Dem primary I said that Virginia could survive Deeds. As a one term governor you are limited in damage potential and he would ride his good ol' boy horse that entire term and not do anything crazy. My vote against him yesterday was not so much against him as governor, but to deny him a future national springboard. We'll see him again, the dud wants to be president I'll guess. His centrist populist whitewash should roll out just in time to "save us" from the leftist debacle. Deep down though he is not much different than the president, he just says folksier things to get elected.

So, yay Virginia!

I find it interesting he didn't win my county. We're all god fearin' hill people and all, but still, we neighbor Deeds home county and read the same newspaper that slobbers all over local boy done good.

YW.  I was actually impressed with the campaign he ran.  Lower taxes less governemnt.  No blithering about social issues.  Deeds hopped into the gutter and stayed there.
