I think it was recogniizng the device, but not accessing the internet connection. I feel like it's a network setup issue on the PC side. The TV actually recognized the router.

Go to the LinkSys web site and download the latest drivers for the router.  Also, check the router config and try switching encryption from AES/TKIP to "TKIP Only".  I've heard some stories about Win 7 not playing nice with AES.

Got it1 Between your advice and Linksys FAQ, router is working. Now to test TV. Thanks a bunch.

What did the LinkSys FAQ say to try?  I'd like to store it away for later reference as I get a lot of calls from friends for computer help.

Setting WPA2 and cloning the MAC seemed to be the ticket. I just watched an episode of Terry Jones' Medieval Lives. Awesome! =D
