Maine and Susan Collins
« on: July 28, 2017, 12:11:26 PM »
I'm just curious having no boots on the ground (fistful's favorite expression :)  ) experience in the region. Any of you that have lived in Maine or the adjoining area: Way out here in the West, I've always though of Maine as a conservative to libertarian state. How the heck did they get Susan Collins, who in my opinion should just switch to "D" (or move to CA) and get it over with?

Maine is like the CA of the Northeast but in camouflage.

More accurately, southern New Hampshire and southern Maine (up to and including Portland) have essentially become de facto North Massachusetts.

True, I apologize to the central and northern Mainers out there.
