Robber Leaves Wallet At Scene

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A robber made a forgetful mistake and left an important clue for police.

The man can be seen on security video robbing a Hardee's restaurant at Independence Avenue and Winner Road Sunday afternoon.

A few hours later, the same man hit a Subway restaurant near West 77th Street and Stateline Road, police said.

The robber pulled out his wallet, pretending to order food, then left it on the counter as he made his getaway.

Police said they have the man's identification and expect to make an arrest in the case soon.

There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.
