I strongly suspect that a similar study would show there is no such thing as an American . . . or a Russian . . . or a Chinese . . . or a Japanese . . . or a Zimbabwean . . . or an Italian . . . or an Englishman . . . and on and on and on.

The study confuses Nationality with genetics.  I can become a Mexican if I emigrate to Mexico.
