New dog

So today I went down to central-western Virginia to pick up a Brittany.  She's almost 10 weeks old, and very sweet natured.  She's somewhat calm and reserved, sweet, loving and with plenty puppy playfulness in her.  She comes from champion blood lines and hopefully I'll be able to get her trained to flush and retrieve upland game.
Her name is Honey.

I've been toying with the idea of adding a canine to the pack, but I know that cats eat the poor thing alive.

That's a beautiful pup.  I used to have a Brittany.  He was a great dog and loved hunting.  If he saw you with a camo shirt on or carrying a gun case, he'd go nuts until he got into the field and then he was all business.  They're very energetic and smart dogs.  You'll have a lot of fun with her.
