When science fails
« on: October 13, 2019, 11:38:57 AM »
"The science is settled" (except that it isn't) argument hasn't brought the world to its knees quickly enough, so scientists climate terrorists are resorting to a new tactic -- overt terrorism.

Of course, they say they are calling for "peaceful, civil disobedience," but in the age of antifa how likely is any civil disobedience to remain civil?

Are the white lab coats supposed to make them look more official?

Bill Nye seems to think so

Have you noticed that they brag about half of their signatories are climate scientist or experts in wildlife, yet when scientist sign papers saying the half degree rise in global temperature is not caused by humans they complain that only half are climate scientist?  That really shows where the priorities of the reporters are.

The other guy's half is half empty while our half is half full type of thinking.

Emily Grossman, a science broadcaster with a PhD in molecular biology:

QUOTE ONE
Quote
“We believe that the continued governmental inaction over the climate and ecological crisis now justifies peaceful and non-violent protest and direct action, even if this goes beyond the bounds of the current law,” said Emily Grossman, a science broadcaster with a PhD in molecular biology. She read the declaration on behalf of the group.

Doublethink, anyone?

QUOTE TWO
Quote
“We therefore support those who are rising up peacefully against governments around the world that are failing to act proportionately to the scale of the crisis,” she said.

The end justifies the means, anyone?

Passionate self-righteousness, anyone?

Leftist do it my way or else, anyone?

In a joint declaration, climate scientists, physicists, biologists, engineers and others from at least 20 countries broke with the caution traditionally associated with academia to side with peaceful protesters courting arrest from Amsterdam to Melbourne.

So that makes me think some places are cooling (to offset the global average) and won't admit it.

Or these were reports demonstrating that Summer is warmer than average.

Or maybe it's just BS propaganda.
