One inaccuracy in the article that I noticed states that the new law will allow concealed carry in houses of worship. CCW in churches has been legal for some time. The only exception is if the church grounds include a private religious school of some sort. The new bill removes that exception.
Both of the churches I have been a member of since moving to NC actually quietly encouraged members to carry in church if they have a permit. I carry every Sunday.
