Probably the most accurate holiday related battle simulation I've seen. Available in 4k no less.

Until they include kangaroos with stinger missiles, I won;t be impressed.

No, what rooster described happened. Allegedly anyways. "Old" army story anyways. Aussie military had a flight sim for the Apache. Someone replaced the sprites (pictures but moving) of infantry with kangaroos for local color. Only, they JUST replaced the visuals. Not the weapons. Specifically, NOT the man er, 'roo portable anti-aircraft weapons. Said Apache in the sim was thus blown out of the sky.

Not sure of the details, but it's standard lore in both the coding community as well as the military.

Where is the battlefield?  North Pole or Antarctica?

I watched first almost 2 minutes and paused it; the battle is just about to begin.  [ar15]

I predict Santa will take an early lead (stronger and superior weapons) but then be totally overrun by the penguins' sheer numbers, and slaughtered.

ETA: it was more one-sided than I expected, but it looks like the Santas self-destructed after about 3 swings even if never hit by a penguin.

Your prediction is accurate.

I think Santas should have easily beaten Penguins.

Fail.  The Santas were not properly equipped:

I think Santas should have easily beaten Penguins.
On one hand, a lot of penguins jumped off cliffs and seemed to get no credit for falling on Santas.  On other hand, the giant candy cane clubs should be a lot more effective.  When they showed them take out the last Santa at the end, it seemed like it takes several hits to kill a penguin.  Maybe they should have armed themselves with candied hakapiks.
