Dang, Brad!! All of the computers I have, I've built. I have less than $500/each in hardware costs in them and they were some top end machines when they were built. (2000 - 2002) Installing components are really easy. (refer to Monkeyleg's Motherboard thread). Heck, I haven't priced CD/DVD burners lately, but the last one I bought was under $50 and installation is really straightforward. Most of them could probably run Vista, but XP Pro is working quite well, so why fix it if it ain't broke?? I do have one box that's Ubuntu that I'm learning on, but now I need to download the newest Ubuntu and try it out. Maybe it's fixed my printer problem?? Hopefully !!
