Companies benefitting from the lower corporate taxes is a good thing. Unless you're a Democrat, then it's the most evil thing ever to come down the pike.
California Democrats, on the other hand, are apparently looking at it as a potential winfall -- for the state's tax coffers.
"Assemblymen Kevin McCarty of Sacramento and Phil Ting of San Francisco introduced Assembly Constitutional Amendment 22 Thursday that would raise corporate taxes on California companies with revenues higher than $1 million. The state tax hike would be for an amount equivalent to half what they received from the federal tax cut."

http://www.sacbee.com/news/politics-government/capitol-alert/article195405279.htmlHere's the kicker...
"The state’s wealthiest 1 percent, for instance, pay 48 percent of its income tax, and the departure of just a few families could lead to a noticeable hit to state general fund revenue."
And yet, apparently the wealthy in this country still don't pay their "fair share."
Anyone who lives in California willingly, or keeps a company there, is a fool.
