Title: Using old Android phones as part of IP webcam network

I would like to use my old Android phones (2 HTC Eris, 1 HTC Thunderbolt and 1 HTC Rezound) to create a IP webcam network on the cheap. 
All I would like to do is have the ability to tap into them remotely to check on my new puppy while away. 

I have a wireless modem and all my laptops, tablets use that network without any problems.

Does anyone currently do this?

Do you mean using the phones as the unattended cameras? If so, you'd need to find an app that did what you want. Unfortunately I haven't come across one that does anything quite like that. Doesn't mean one doesn't exist, though.

Well, I did find tinyCam that would allow me to add cameras to a network but as for viewing them remotely outside the network is where I'm having issues.  I know it requires port forwarding and the Motorola NVG510 I'm using isn't the most friendly for that, I've been told. 

I'm certain it can be done though, so I'll keep at it.
