Title: National Pancake Day
Post by: Ben on March 07, 2017, 08:48:38 AM
I'm so confused. The Interwebz says that National Pancake Day is 26SEP. IHOP says it is today. I think my only safe option is to make pancakes on both days.  :laugh:

Why wouldn't you?!

Indeed.  =D

I just did, actually. I've been hooked on Kodiak Cakes protein pancakes. My regular homemade pancakes, while delicious (if I do say so myself) are pretty fattening. I tried the Kodiak Cakes not expecting much from a "protein pancake", but they are really good for any kind of premix pancake. I wouldn't buy them at regular prices, but Costco has them for eight bucks for a big box of mix.

Perhaps they mean International Pancake Day.

In any case, may Saint Rachel smile upon thee this Pancake Day.

I see what you did there.  Don't worry; your joke didn't fall flat.

IIRC, there is some quibble as to when St. Pancake day truly is.

The day she martyred herself (16 March 2003), or the day her friends chose to honor her martyrdom a year later.

Why not both ??
