"

And there have always been jokes about "joint sessions" of Congress. It would not surprise me at all to learn a lot of congresscritters had done drugs in the past . . . and more than a few probably still are.

Personally, I don't care if an adult smokes, snorts, drinks, or shoots up, so long as he doesn't endanger anyone else in the process or shirk his legitimate responsibilities . . . AND so long as the taxpayers are under NO obligation whatsoever to dry him out or treat him for an OD. The drunkard's or doper's bad decisions are NOT someone else's responsibility!

BUT . . . I will not choose to follow such a person as my leader, and don't want them in a position where others lives are at risk . . . so jobs like airline pilot, heart surgeon, and president should not be held by dopers.

RadioFreeSeaLab:
Hypocrisy.  How many congressmen use tobacco, alcohol, caffeine?  How many use Viagra?  That's a performance enhancing drug, is it not?

MechAg94:
..evidently a number of Americans believe a lot of ignorant things.  Doesn't make them right to me.
