Heard this morning that the Democrat leaders are calling for the Governor to call a special election.  Supposedly there is something in Oklahoma law that requires it in cases like this.  The State AG is looking into it.  I would say that if there is such a law it needs to be amended to state that if the party that lost the election is so butt hurt over it they need to pay the expense to hold said election(s).
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

means 25% voted straight D ticket

Not necessarily, there are quite a few uninformed voters out there.  (Granted the vast majority of them punch straight D).

One thing I have always appreciated about Washington is that we don't have to declare a party affiliation and therefore can only vote that party's ticket.
