How about post modern *expletive deleted*ck tards manipulate weak humans using social media.

I'm not sure what the point behind this manipulation is yet here is the behemoth of search being used as propaganda.

as an alternative theory:

Rather then social engineering written secretly into the Google algorithm.  The image search looks at the words you are looking for and words in the page surrounding the picture.  Since you asked for an "American" couple you are getting images with that descriptor.  Americans pretty much rule the internet and we don't identify our nationality much.  So the only images with"american" around them are the hyphenated americans. So that's what the search returns to you.

Try just searching for "Happy Couple"

I ran across a rant about this on some random blog and couldn't believe it was true so I googled the phrase.

While I was influenced by the original context I heard about it in (a rant about media manipulation), I couldn't see what the point was of not showing happy white couples as well.

The stupidity of the search engine makes more sense than malice  :facepalm:

What if the result was all white people when you searched using the various phrases we've tried here?

Leaving out any representation of the +30% of Americans who aren't white would probably cause a bit of a stir, rightly so.

The SJW propaganda is pervasive.

So pervasive that something like what my original post pointed out didn't even seem out of the realm of possibility as a deliberate media distortion of reality.

I for one was relieved that there was a more rational explanation to the odd search results. The left has jumped the shark so dramatically that reality and parody are indistinguishable.
