K Frame:
Nearly 100 years of glorious cowboy movie lingo...

Top ten old west phrases that will never sound the same after that damned cowboy movie:

1. "I'm gonna pump you fulla lead."

2. "Give me a stiff one, barkeep!"

3. "Don't fret---I've been in tight spots before."

4. "Howdy, pardner."

5. You stay here while I sneak around from behind."

6. Two words: "Saddle Sore."

7. "Hold it right there! Now, move your hand, reeeal slow-like."

8. "Let's mount up!"

9. "Nice spread ya got there!"

10. "Ride 'em cowboy!"

richyoung:
"You and me are gonna slap leather!"
"He's got the fastest gun in the west..."
"Nice shootin""
"...rode hard and put away wet..."
"Fill yor hand!"

Elmer Snerd:
"A gun is a tool, Marian. No better, no worse than any other tool. An axe, shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that."

"Git along, little dogie."

"Never squat with your spurs on."

"Mine hit the ground first."
"Mine was taller."

"Don't say it's a fine morning or I'll shoot you."

"In my day, a man would stay with you on a handshake."

"I don't favor looking up to the likes of you."

"There's more to being a man than handling a gun."

(insert clever "Arkansas Toothpick" double entendre here)

Warren:
Skin that smokepole!

Deserve ain't got nothin' to do with it.

Beware The Hole-in-the-wall Gang.

I've been after you along time.

Turn around and face me! I said turn around dammit!

Be slow, but in a hurry.

Art Eatman:
Sorry, but I'd bet more newspeople saw that movie than any ranch folks.  Just another three-day wonder for the nattering and chattering class to get excited about.  It won't be long before you can say, "Brokebutt Mountain" and you'll see folks stop to try to remember what it was.

And it wasn't much, to begin with...
