Claw-like knives...
« on: January 29, 2008, 10:53:23 AM »
I remember a website that sold claw like knives that were designed to be wrapped around the index and middle finger.  They allowed use of other things such as flashlights and doors etc while still having them in your hand.
I thought NC prohibited carrying such things, but just discovered that it'd probably only be illegal if I carried one concealed.  Now I want to find it again.  Any one got any leads?

Sunday it felt a little better, but it was quite irritated from me rubbing it.

They are usually called Kerambits, and are available from a variety of manufacturers.

There's been some talk that the very nice young lady who markets them has had some ups & downs lately.  You might want to check to see what the status is before you commit any money.

BTW, the one I got several years ago has been well worth the cost.  Cuts strings, boxes, and the occassional piece of fruit.  It's a terror on both cardboard boxes and bamboo matting in HTH practice - I'd be very unhappy if someone used it on me.

stay safe.

Good to hear.
Going to do more research up here before I commit, definitely.
