When making your bombing run remember what's most important, not being sexist.

Holy crap, who?, what?

Although destroying this target may provide a military advantage against the enemy, the second order effect may mean that, due to the gendered social roles, women need to travel further afield, on unfamiliar and less secure, well-known or well-lit routes to gather water and firewood.

Are they allowed to consider the first order effects?  You know, like the same woman may be killed outright.  Oh well, at least their path will be well-lit.

WOMEN will be allowed to serve in frontline combat roles after the Gillard government ordered the Australian Defence Force to bring forward the removal of bans that have stopped women from applying for the most dangerous and demanding military jobs.

The historic decision by Defence Minister Stephen Smith means women who meet the tough physical standards required of their male counterparts will now be able to serve in elite special forces units such as the SAS, work as naval clearance divers and join general infantry and armoured units.

The decision to fast-track women into combat roles coincided with the announcement of a raft of reviews and inquiries into the treatment of women in the defence force spurred by the Skype sex scandal.

That'll get changed after the first group of woman wash out. They'll either start granting the women bonus PC points or give them their own (but equal  ) standards or lower the physical standards for men down to a new standard that the women can meet.

Where are Aussies bombing these days, anyway?  Are they part of Operation Enduring Money Pit in the Middle East?

If they're going to have double standards on whether they bomb men or women, they should bloody well have double standards for their female soldiers.
