Beat him with a CAIN!
« on: November 12, 2011, 01:59:17 AM »
I can't stop laughing at this.  Funny both in itself and possibly for some amusing historical references.

I just contributed, so I'm supposed to be getting a bumper sticker. Don't know which one, though.

OK, which do you hear in your head, The Band, or Joan Baez?  Or maybe a different cover?  (Joan Baez for me)

I can't stand Joan Baez, and I was into folk music when she arrived on the scene. Aside from her politics, one thing that really bothered me was her swearing in the Bob Dylan biomovie, "Don't Look Back". Here she is being interviewed for documentary directed by Martin Scorcese, and she has to swear like a longshoreman. Lots of class.

So why does the "Cain 2012" logo have a background of the state of Wisconsin? What's the connection?

That's not Wisconsin. Looks like AL to me. That or a stretched Wyoming with a hanging chad.

I definitely see Wisconsin. That was another thing I was wondering; did it change based on your location.

Clever. I thought they might be changing the state according to your IP. Looks like they are.

Why not the entire US, though?

Anyone try to access it from a TOR/Onion browser with a SOCKS proxy in Denmark?

Maybe because winning the popular vote means nothing if you don't win enough individual states?

What background? All I see is a two-color torch.
