I don't really think Obama will do anything accept make nice speeches.  I think he has not accomplished anything himself most of his life and won't start now.

However, I think he will sign anything his fellow Dems put in front of him.

If you really want to know what the scary aspect of Obama is and what he will do that will have lasting and destructive effect look at Heller.
Heller passed by ONE VOTE, 4 to 5.
There are likely to be one or two SCOTUS Justices retiring in the near future.
Guess who gets to appoint their replacements?
Guess what kind of Justices we'll have if Obama wins.

Just one of the Heller 5 gets ill, in an accident or just flat retires and we have a 5-4 ruling AGAINST the 2nd Amendment.

There is Obama's legacy if he wins.
There is where he is going to hit gun owners.
Where we can not hit back and have no defense.

I'd take issue with your third point....  But I don't think Obama is dumb enough to push that envelope.   Not even the filthy socialists in the Democrat party want civil war.

What scares me is that not enough of our people would show up.

Besides, we could never win such a war. We don't have enough hardware and money. You can only get so many heavy weapons from Mexican gun-runners. Hopefully some military leaders would support us. If not, the best we could do would be to hold out in the roughest of rough terrain.

Not to advocate it, cause you sure aint gonna see my fat behind with war paint shooting from behind a tree, but I think you underestimate what an actual organized gorilla force could do to our military.  Iraq would be peanuts compared to a motivated enemy who used their brain in picking targets for their attacks.

That and America doesn't have the stomach to kill people half a world away for a legitimate cause.  I don't think they will have the stomach for a prolonged war against other Americans.
