Title: The New York Times
Post by: Hawkmoon on August 24, 2017, 05:44:20 AM
... seems to think it's wrong for the Wall Street Journal to expect it's reporters to write like reporters rather than opinion columnists:

Personally, I say good for the WSJ.

In February, Mr. Baker fielded tough questions at an all-hands staff meeting about whether the newspaper’s reporting on Mr. Trump was too soft. Mr. Baker denied that notion, and he suggested that other newspapers had abandoned their objectivity about the president; he also encouraged journalists unhappy with the Journal’s coverage to seek employment elsewhere.

What a novel idea -- expecting reporters to do their jobs. The NYT should try it.

Good for him.  I don't like Trump much but I'm tired of the histrionics of the left.

As they say, "And that's how you get Trump in 2020."

Although, frankly, I don't think he'll run again.

Like a shade tree mechanic, he'll fix what he can over the weekend to just get it on the road.
