I had a great cheeseburger yesterday. We have one of those "gourmet" roach coaches in town called "The Burger Bus". A few coworkers and I tracked it down yesterday. It only has a few items on the menu, but they're damn good.

I did a double bacon cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese, and customized it with the spread from their chiptole burger, which is a chiptole sauce the consistency of mayo that is simply the best chiptole flavor I've ever had. Washed it down with a Cactus Cooler. They also had fried pickles, which I neglected to try this time, but are another reason to go there again. :)

Those cheeseburgers named after different cities all seem pretentious.  Now for a good cheeseburger, served properly with the "right" accompaniements, I suggest http://www.heartattackgrill.com/ .

When I go into Starbucks I want coffee, not some hot water with "stuff" drizzled in it.  When I want a cheeseburger, I want grilled ground beef with cheese put on top of it.  I'll agree that you can put any of a variety of cheeses on top of the grilled ground beef.  Otherwise we're going to have to accept "loose meat" http://www.maid-rite.com/ as a cheeseburger.  Do we really want to go back there?

One of my favorite cheeseburgers can be had at Mickey Lu's in Marinette WI.  My other favorite is Herd's Hamburgers in Jacksboro Tx.........Those burgers at that site are killer.  I had to favorite that site and try to make some of them..chris3

Dallas?? I thought they were in Arizona? They are on my "worth a road trip" list.

GAAAAHHH!!!!!!!! Just looked it up. The Arizona one closed in June. I'm going to go drink now...

At Tamarack Brewery.. a new place in town I had one of the best burgers ever today though a bit pretentious and spendy...  Bacon Brie and Blue burger!
