A sad day
« on: October 17, 2012, 06:45:49 AM »
It's an anniversary most do not remember.  They should.  It was a loss almost beyond words.

It started with 3,555 barrels of beer in one large vat.  THREE THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE!  Do you have any idea how many six-packs that is?  How many olympic-sized swimming pools that represents?

And then several other vats go.

The horror!

Yeah, a few people died.  And most of them died from causes other than drowning.

But, beer in the streets deep enough to be scooped up in pots and pans?

(Be sure to check out the cause of the hospital riot.)

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

They keep making this eternal vigilance thing harder and harder.  Protecting the 2nd amendment is like playing PACMAN - there's no pause button so you can go to the bathroom.
