Quote
A Roosevelt man whose car was stopped because his 2-year-old was not secured in a car seat was arrested Sunday afternoon after police said he assaulted two officers -- one suffering a fractured hand.

Jorge Guevara, 41, of 21 Ronald Place, was arrested after the traffic stop on Nassau Road in Roosevelt at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday. He was charged with two counts of second-degree assault and second-degree...

It's a free-peek teaser, but there's no need to read further.

I once taught USMC MPs how to write reports.  To illustrate how including all the information in the report could actually work to their advantage I came up with something along the lines of:

Quote
At approximately zero-dark-thirty hours on 01Jan2998, while assigned to Post #X, an individual later identified as Pvt. Smith, Snuffy J, USMC 123456789, 15th Platoon, Gizmodo Company, 57th Battallion, 6 7/8th Regiment, USMC Reserve, stationed at amp Swampy and at that time on lawfully granted overnight liberty status, did without warning, cause or provocation approach me, Senior MasterStaff Sergeant Grunt, Badass D., USMC 987654321, 975th MP Detachment, H&HS Company, 975th Division, USMC, in a threatening and aggressive manner by both words and deeds, uttering "I'm gonna punch your lights out, you skinny bitch" or words to that effect.  Pvt. Smith approached me with his hands balled into fists and raised above the line of his waist.  I assumed a defensive posture and disabled the retention device of my M-432C, Mod 12 issue knoggin-thumper while verbally instructing and ordering Pvt. Smith to halt his advance towards me.  Pvt. Smith ignored and refused to obey my lawfully-issued order(s) and continued to advance upon me in a threatening and provocative manner while continuing to make verbal threats, including "Who's gonna stop me, you fat-butted puke" or words to that effect.  Pvt. Smith then began an unprovoked and illegal assault against and upon my person by striking my M-432C, Mod 12 issue knoggin-thumper with the left side of his face and by striking my right hand between five (5) and seven (7) times with his mouth.  I immediately and reflexively assumed a combat-defensive attitude in accordance with the training and instruction received, and attempted to retreat to a position of safety while ordering Pvt. Smith to cease, desist and halt his aggressive and assaultive actions.  Failing to obey my lawful and legal orders, Pvt. Smith escalated his assaultive attack upon my body and person my striking his groin against the toe and instep of my right foot and then striking his left temple against the sole of my right foot.

And it went downhill from there.  The point was to show that by properly wording a report there would be no question of who did what to whom, and that a clearly written, detailed report could protect them from false accusations.

A few days after the class the Provost Marshal sent word he wanted to see me about the class I had instructed.  I was aware, in a general scuttle-butt way, of a Marine having been "roughly treated" by the MPs the night before, and was wondering if this might have something to do with why I was about to see the PM.  When I got there the PM congratulated me on the excellent training I had provided while waving about what he called "The best darned incident report I have ever read."  He showed it to me.  It was almost word for word my above training sample!

Is it possible these guys were trained by some Marines I trained years ago?

stay safe.

I wrote a very similar report the time I turned myself into the MPs. Specifically, I attempted to turn myself in for conduct under Article 134. I very graphically explained the activities in my sworn affidavit. They literally threw me out of the MP hut, ordered me not to come back regardless my guilt.

(Yes, Article 134 does cover a blow job. No, MPs will unfortunately not arrest you for it. They will however not be gentle in escorting you to the entrance way to ensure you do not trip over any furniture, walls, filing cabinets, et al.)
"Rev, your picture is in my King James Bible, where Paul talks about "inventors of evil."  Yes, I know you'll take that as a compliment."  - Fistful, possibly highest compliment I've ever received.

Very clever, AJ. Ah, I was the receiver. And it was a female on the other end.

Also, doctors do not think medical tags with alcohol preferences on them is very funny.

Why does the word "pegging" come to mind?

Somebody, somewhere reminded me of a time they were looking at the B-girls and saying "Please don't get an erection.  Please don't get an erection,  Please don't " -- but she did anyhow.
