Depends on my mood.  I am going to brew my first batch of homebrew this coming weekend.  Should be ready to drink in about a month or so.  Hey Chas,  I would like to get that apple recipe from you.

Blue Moon (Belgium White)
Pyramid Apricot Ale
Pyramid Heffewizen (sp?)

I drink about 1 beer a week (unless I'm partying), so I like to get things that are pricey.

No problem. I got it out of a book at home. I'll see if it's unpacked yet and get it back to ya'. If you like Porter's, I've got one that's pretty tasty too. Any idea what types of beer you want to brew yet? Once you do, search the net. There are more available there than you'll ever be able to brew!

Cheers!

Anybody ever had Rauchtbier? It's made by smoking the hops and barley in a smokehouse. I had it for the first time when I was studying abroad. My group stopped in the town in Germany where it was originally made, but I can't remember the name of the town.
It takes a little getting used too, but once you acquire the taste it is delicious.

Nice that my first post is about beer!
Right now my beer of choice is Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout. Blue Moon and Young's Double Chocolate also rate high. One of my old favorites was Blackened VooDoo out of Louisiana if I recall correctly. Smithwick's, and Mackesons Triple Stout are currently in the fridge.

So many beers, so little time.
I prefer the heavier beers in cool weather, the porters and stouts, and hoppy brews ESBs and IPAs, in warmer weather.   Of course I live in south central Arizona, so it's usually warm.
Some of my favorites -
Prescott Brewing Company's Porter
Fuller's IPA and ESB
Whatney's Cream Stout
Four Peak's Kiltlifter Scots Ale
Smithwick's Ale
There's a lot of good beer being made.

Well, when it's cold outside I like to enjoy a nice Guinness stout.  When the weather turns warmer you can usually find me drinking a  cold Guinness stout.  As the weather really turns nasty and unbearably hot, that's when I find myself reaching for a cold cold Guinness stout.

Of course there are a few other beers I drink as well.  I like Young's Double Chocolate stout, with good mexican food I'll usually drink some Bohemia or Negro Modelo.  With German food I like Celebrator double bock.  Usually though, I like to drink Guinness... aka Mothers milk or Malt Liquor Ovaltine.
